Jen's Pink & Zebra Baby Shower

This was a really fun event to plan. Planning events like these comes easy when you love the person its for! The theme for this shower was the very trendy Pink & Zebra. My friend and I thought of some pretty cool ideas to share with the guests. Enjoy!

The centerpieces were these "Rattles" that were made of hot pink carnations. I used 4" and 3" inch oasis balls. After applying the flowers (about 80-90 carnations per centerpiece) the size of the flower balls (pomander) is 12" and 10". Here is another picture where you can see just how big they turned out.

Below is the candy bar. It initially started as a milk and cookies station but our love for everything sweet kicked in and thus the candy bar. There were little goody bags where the guests could fill up on candy to take home for their kids. It was a very popular and fun addition and Im sure it made the kids at home pretty happy too.

Also made these vanilla cake pops dipped in chocolate and decorated with some white sugar candies for the candy table.

We also had a Design a Onesie station. We purchased different sizes to grow with baby Kylie. Make sure these are done during the beginning of the shower to give them plenty of time to dry!!

Close up of the sign on the table. I used scrap paper from the invite (had a ton of scraps) and embossed the letters using stamps. I made the "clothes line" out of floral wire and coat hangers.

Dad really does own a shotgun! I made this closer to the end of the party which is why there are smudges everywhere.

Other onesies came out awesome and added to the decor.

The fireplace was adorned with candles, bud vases and a pink frame. Close up below.

The picture in the frame was also done with stamps and residual paper from the invites.

Finally a little diaper cake stroller that gave me so much trouble I'd rather not even think about it!
